Suhasini Ramakrishnan is a seasoned HR leader with over 25 years of experience in strategic HR, organisational transformation, and leadership development across IT products and services, start-ups, MNCs, fintech and financial services, manufacturing, and consulting. Throughout her career, she has focused on building scalable people processes, enabling leadership growth, and fostering inclusive, high-performance cultures that align with strategic goals.

As Head – HRO’s Office at IIHS (Institution Deemed to be) University, Suhasini provides strategic and operational leadership to the University’s HR Function, under the supervision of the HR Officer. She oversees the full range of HR-related activities, including core operations, recruitment, performance management, learning and development, career progression, and compensation and benefits; diversity, inclusion, safety and wellness support for faculty and staff; orientation of new faculty and staff members; facilitating the running of key committees of the University; modifying existing processes and setting up new HR systems, policies and processes in line with University requirements; regulatory compliance and statutory reporting; data management and related MIS; and other activities and processes as applicable.

Prior to her current role, Suhasini spent over 17 years at American Megatrends India (AMI), where she held progressive leadership roles culminating in Vice President – HR. She played a pivotal role in AMI’s transformation from a founder-led organisation to a private equity-owned enterprise. As a trusted advisor to the Board, she led initiatives in leadership development, compensation design, employee engagement, culture transformation, and employee retention.

Suhasini started her career in GE India and subsequently worked with a range of other organisations, including Cognizant Technology Services, GAVS Information Services, and KrazyBee Services. Across her different roles, she has established end-to-end HR frameworks to support scale and sustainability, designed and implemented job frameworks, mentored senior leaders and championed employee-centric approaches.
