Sathyanarayanan H brings over 30 years of distinguished experience in administration, with 16 years in the Indian Air Force (IAF) and 15 years at leading academic institutions. He began his career as an airman in the IAF, earning multiple accolades, such as Best in Trade, Best in General Service Training, and Best All-Rounder trophies, and a double promotion. Guided by his motto, ‘Duty before self’, he has held diverse administrative responsibilities across multiple locations, consistently demonstrating integrity and dedication that have earned him additional entrusted duties.

During his service in the IAF, Sathyanarayanan completed a full-time Post-Graduate Diploma in Planning and Management (PGDPM) from the Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM), Chennai. Upon taking voluntary release to support his family, he transitioned to IIPM’s administrative department and later obtained a Master of Science in Psychology from Tamil Nadu Open University (TNOU), Chennai.

He continued his academic career as Deputy Director of Administration at Amity University, Rajasthan, and later at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. In a span of over 13 years, he was instrumental in establishing and implementing student hostel SOPs, policies, and procedures, while managing canteen services, housekeeping, facilities, and campus safety and security. Sathyanarayanan is recognised for his student-centric approach, making him a trusted point of contact for the student community.

At IIHS (Institution Deemed to be) University, Sathyanarayanan oversees the Administration function, working closely with the Academic Office, faculty, and staff to deliver smooth, responsive administrative support to students across amenities and services. He is also involved in emergency and crisis management, event and conference coordination, budgeting and financial management, policy development, regulatory compliance, documentation, and reporting
