Roopashi Khatri is a commercial lawyer with several years of experience advising individual clients and companies, including for-profit and non-profit entities across various fields on commercial law, domestic and international tax law, cross-border transactions, and regulatory compliance. She is also a professor of law, having previously taught at the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, and CMR School of Legal Studies, Bengaluru. She holds an LLB degree from NLSIU, and an LLM from King’s College London. Her research and practice areas include tax law, constitutional law, data protection law, and various areas of law and public policy.
At IIHS (Institution Deemed to be) University, Roopashi supports the Registrar’s Office. She supports the institution in legal and regulatory matters, drafting legal memos and opinion writing, and conducting research related to urban law regulation and policy.
