Anitha K V has a master’s degree in library and information science from Jnana Bharathi Campus, Bangalore University. During her master’s programme, she did a three-month internship at Christ University Library in Bengaluru. Before pursuing her master’s, Anitha completed her BA with a focus on history, economics, and political science.

In her current role, her responsibilities include journal and magazine subscriptions, cataloguing, and providing information and reference services. Additionally, she is actively involved in coordinating initiatives related to knowledge dissemination and scholarly communication. Anitha is also engaged in familiarising herself with primary and secondary information resources in the field of interdisciplinary social sciences.

Her areas of research interest include information retrieval, knowledge management and bibliometrics. She is committed to advancing understanding and practices within the domain of library and information science.
